SyFy is doing a series of modern adaptation of fairy tales, and I was fortunate enough to be playing the lead in Red, an updating of Red Riding Hood. The movie was released in late October on SyFy and Showcase in Canada and got over 2 million viewers! I will update when I know about streaming options and pay to download!

I love me some Felicia Day! However, I hope the “Sci-Fi original” stigma doesn’t kill this film as it sounds like a pretty good idea. Their adaptation of Oz was pretty good with Zooey, but the Alice in Wonderland was terribad.
I have faith that you are way more awesome than Zooey (still mad love for the Deschenel girls) and will not let this suck as so many other sci-fi channel movies have done in the past.

Bruce Campbell has managed to do some decent work with SyFy. It could work for Felicia too! Wow, I’m suddenly picturing a collaboration. lol.

I worked with Skiffy back in the day when the Incredible Hulk was their biggest draw. They wanted to originate some programming, & I brought in a friend/collaborator of mine, a working director with a number of low-budget sucesses behind him, and we suffered through a pitch meeting. Some great ideas were tosed around that could be brought in on a budget…but they didn’t want to work with him, he seemed too much an “artist.” They proceeded to produce some of the worst television ever cranked out. That was MANY YEARS AGO, and some things have changed for the better…it seems they MAY have discovered the benefits of doing things right, and having some artistic ambitwn. But I’ve not seen anything from Sheldon Davis that makes me hopeful…as he’s not a writer I’m hoping he’s just been a victim of the screenplays he’s been handed. IMDB doesn’t list a writer…I’m gonna trust that FD wouldn’t be doing this if she didn’t first read a good script!
wow I wonder how this series will turn out. I am mos def interested. I hope the show becomes a success when it comes out.
I love what the SciFi (don’t ask me to call it Syfy) channel is doing with the fairy tale and older “bed time” stories (Tin Man I am looking at you). Can’t wait to see one of my favorite “Geek Girls” (Geek = Knowledgeable / Nerd = Socially Awkward) on this show! Twenty ELEVEN!!!! Good god I think I may die before then…. hopefully there will be plenty of Ms. Day to watch online until then.
BTW… I am a Geek Nerd (very knowledgeable about being awkward) so I know where for I speak about a Geek Girl being hotzors.
By the BTW… is there a way we can breed for red heads? I don’t mean Ms. Day and me… I mean as a species.

I don’t know if I can handle my all childhood story heros all being replaced by beautiful women…. whats going to happen to my children. I wont be able to tell my kids I had a crush on little red because she has throwing knifes in her boots and a polished m98…….. ohh well. They can suffer through the confusion. I can’t wait to set my DVR;)

I’m super fer cereal excited about this, the project looks awesome and we all know Ms. Day will be kicking major were ass so that’s allow good. Plus as was with Tin Man the lead is hella cute, yeah I’m talking about you my firey vixen hunter lady, so that’s even more of a reason to get excited. This is looking to be one of the best SciFi miniseries

Finally got to watch this movie, the BEST thing i can say about it is that it got me to look you up on IMDb. from there to The Guild; HILARIOUS & i don’t even game, to you all over the internet. I really like it when someone succeeds doing what they love. Plus you refused to be bought out! Your not (just) a hot gamer chick, Your a hot gamer/artist/business woman. Really admire you & i know i’ll see more from you in the future.

I just watched this tonight with my dad, and we LOVED it! The only down side was that it had to have commercials breaking it up
Other than that, I absolutely loved it and obviously perfectly done for a made-for-TV-movie 
Felicia is the fairest RPG (and gaming) girl I’ve ever known about.
I’ld like to be her friend and more but with my luck I’ll be misunderstood

They sure are taking their sweet time on getting this onto DVD!! I loved the movie and thought Felicia and Kavan did a great job!! Stephen McHattie was his usual creepy awesomeness!! They so better release this onto DVD soon!!
