So, if you’re a fan of the “Fire and Ice” series, you might have fun with this test, that tells you which house you belong to in the world of George RR Martin’s world. The following is my score. I feel like I should be more trustworthy, but maybe their questions were just biased. I think MANIPULATIVE would be a better word, and that was just with regards to throne manipulation. Am I protesting too much? 🙂 Anyway, here are my results:

Your Score: House Tyrell

45% Dominant, 54% Extroverted, 45% Trustworthy

Vivacious. Gregarious. Dangerous. Slightly gay. Not to be trusted, you are of House Tyrell.

You are of a more submissive personality, though this is not to say that you are unambitious. On the contrary, you know that the spotlight brings more than glory. Unwilling to be saddled with the accusations and petty treacheries of court life, you are content to let someone else hold the reigns of the empire. You’re in the thick of it, though; no one makes a move that you haven’t anticipated. Those headstrong types are so easy to control.

You are also extroverted, which means that no matter how subtly you move your hand, everyone knows that you’re a player–a major one. Your sociability makes you a boon to the smallfolk, though in truth they love a façade. Your god-given talents will often excuse you from criticism, but jealousy will follow you like a dog wherever you go.

You are definitely untrustworthy. Behind you beaming smiles and polite laughter lurks the most dangerous kind of enemy: a charismatic one. You’re opportunistic, and all the more treacherous for your subtlety. An efficient political machine, you are always evaluating yourself as well as your surroundings. There’s no room for error in your household or yourself, and you’ll cut off the hand that offends you.

Representative characters include: Margery Tyrell, Loras Tyrell, and Olenna Redwyne.

Similar Houses: Baratheon, Frey, Tully

Opposite House: Lannister

Seat: Highgarden
When playing the game of thrones, you play it with style.

    Your Score: House Lannister
    54% Dominant, 36% Extroverted, 63% Trustworthy

Confident. Dangerous. Unrelentingly sexy. The master of all you survey, you are of House Lannister.

You are a dominant personality—and how! When someone asks “and who are you, the proud lord said, that I should bow so low?” your response is probably, “FUCK YOU! I’m a fucking LANNISTER, that’s who the HELL I am!” And then you’d pimp-slap them with your golden hand. All joking aside, you view leadership as your natural, god-given right; it is a trait, just like your golden curling hair and irresistible sex appeal. It’s who you are—a Lannister.

You are introverted, meaning that you prefer to keep your ambitions and devices to yourself. Unfortunately, your personality is so vivacious that (despite all your intended secrecies) you are still a very obvious person. Though no one knows what avenues you will travel, your destination is clear to all. And of course, yours is a road to greatness! You have a magnetic, polarizing personality: people either love you or hate you. They also probably find you exceedingly intimidating. Their fear is probably well-placed.

Finally, you are trustworthy. Does this surprise you? Remember your unofficial motto: “A Lannister always pays his debts.” Though you enjoy keeping secrets and playing games, everyone knows you are a major player. Underhanded tactics are so expected from you that they don’t particularly count as untrustworthyness—it’s more of a family legacy than a choice. Your promise is as good as the gold that you shit.

Representative characters include: Tyrion Lannister, Jaime Lannister, and Tywin Lannister

Similar Houses: Greyjoy, Stark, and Targaryen

    Opposite House: Tyrell

When playing the game of thrones, you play it balls to the wall.

I must apologize…I was REALLY bored tonight.

    Your Score: House Stark
    27% Dominant, 18% Extroverted, 72% Trustworthy

Not too versed in the Potterverse, so I’m not sure if this is a good thing…

I should try and find an online, full version of the test that psychologists use. These are similar but nowhere near as thorough. The real ones have hundreds of questions, and there are whole books devoted to your results. I took it my freshman year, so it’ll be interesting to see if my personality has changed much in a decade.

    Holy crap… I just realized it’s been a decade since then… i feel old =/

  • Dustin

I got a book like that. “Please Understand Me 2” a teacher gave it to me but I’ve been busy reading Zecharia Sitchin 😛

  • James

    Your Score: House Greyjoy
    63% Dominant, 36% Extroverted, 36% Trustworthy

Brutal. Opportunistic. Unforgiving. Rising again, harder and stronger, you are of House Greyjoy.

You are a dominant personality. Although you are neither the strongest nor the most cunning, you bend the weaknesses of others to your own advantage. Extremely opportunistic, you are the Wendy Pepper of Westeros, letting everyone fall over themselves and get tangled up before springing lightly over the pile of bodies. When others criticize you, you’re more likely to cut out their tongue than lend an ear. Your arrogance is hard-wired into you to such a degree that you barely recognize other human beings to be of your same species, let alone your equals.

You are also introverted, which means that nobody knows what the hell is going on inside your head. Spontaneous and extremely impulsive, your actions will always take people by surprise. As such, it’s unlikely that you have many friends or allies in the wide world; people just don’t find you trustworthy. And there’s a reason for that, too, which is…

You’re untrustworthy! You are opportunistic, greedy, stubborn, and more-than-willing to climb over anyone you must to get to the top. You are unwilling to compromise on anything, and instead of using strategy, you try to eliminate as many of the other players as possible. Let’s face it—by conventional moral standards, you’re just not a very admirable person. Perhaps if you stopped laughing when people cut their fingers off at your dinner parties…?

Representative characters include: Aeron Greyjoy, Asha Greyjoy, and Victarion Greyjoy

Similar Houses: Baratheon, Frey, and Lannister

    Opposite House: Tully

When playing the game of thrones, you play it buck naked, flappin’ in the breeze.

    Sounds like me ;D!

  • Felicia, I’m sorry for this being off-topic, but I recently emailed admin@fd.net asking if I could perhaps conduct a text interview with you for my website about girls and video gaming. I wasn’t sure if that would end up getting to you, so I figured I would give you a heads up. Your show is absolutely amazing, and I would love to plug it and ask you a few questions about it. 🙂

  • Ben

And as long as we’re asking for stuff…Felicia, will you record my answering machine message?

“This is Felicia Day from…The Guild (ha! you thought I was going to say BtVS), leave a message for Ben at the beep or you’re dust!”

  • Dustin

OH Hey Felicia…I’ve got this wedding to go to, and I kinda need someone to fill the “Bride” position…you busy? 😛

  • Edgar

    Your Score: House Baratheon
    81% Dominant, 63% Extroverted, 45% Trustworthy

Fun-loving. Passionate. Arrogant. Practically an animal, you are of House Baratheon.

You are of a more dominant personality, which justifies your hold on the Iron Throne. But is it really your throne? Single-minded and stubborn, you won’t rest until you’ve accomplished your goal; unfortunately for you, you’re too simple to progress any further. You can warm the seat of a chair well enough, but gods save us all if you actually tried to control anything. You can barely control yourself! You’re horrible at long-term planning and you’re too self-involved to keep yourself from being manipulated. In chess, you are the rook: short, sturdy, and direct—but ultimately an unessential piece destined to fall as the unintentional shield of bigger (and badder) pieces.

You are extroverted, which makes you a hero to small children the realm over. But who the hell cares what children think!? You may have a bold personality, and you’ve probably got courage and charisma in spades, but those allies you attract will only stick with you until they discover your shortcomings. The friends you make in life are likely those who are looking for a life-long quest. If you’re smart, you’ll never give them a chance to be disappointed in you.

Finally, you are also untrustworthy. Does this surprise you? Playful and high-spirited as you are, you find yourself attracted to glory, and glory always means trouble. If you die without achieving greatness of some kind, you’ll likely die unhappy. Your need for success is a basic need that throbs beneath your personality, and you’ll do whatever you need to do to make it so. When the opportunity presents itself, you’ll spring like a damn jack-in-the-box.

Representative characters include: Robert Baratheon, Renly Baratheon, and Joffrey “Baratheon”

    Similar Houses: Greyjoy, Targaryen,and Tyrell

  • Eric E.

Haha, Awesome. Wonderful female actor that likes the Song of Ice and Fire Series. Much kudos. You should try and get on that HBO series they’re trying to do.

You’d fit right in with any Tyrell or a Tully.

  • OMFG, this thread is out of control. I go to work for 4 days in a row and come back to chaos! 🙂

Dustin, Please understand me 2 is a GREAT book! I’m afraid to say what my personality turned out to be, but I was disappointed it wasn’t the one most actors are put in. I had a crisis of faith, then I realized…it’s only a book.
I read that they’re doing the mini-series on HBO, and I totally started drooling. Maybe the other movie I did with them, Warm Springs, will give me a leg up on getting a part. 😉 When the heck is the next book out anyway?!
Kevin, I’m making forums soon so everyone can post on separate threads. You can understand why I don’t give my email out to everyone, I’d be glued to my inbox all day! Well, I already do that, so, all day and NIGHT. 🙂 Thanks for finding your way here!

  • Dustin

Good to know about “Please Understand Me 2” but I don’t know where to fit it within all my other reading 🙁 I’ll try though.
