She talks not infrequently of her love of those shows on her blog. I have to assume she'd get a kick out of knowing you enjoy her books. But hey, only 114 days til Cast in Silence! Not that, er, I'm keeping track or anything. At all. I didn't see these listed here, but you may want to take a look at... Bernard Cornwell's "The Warlord Chronicles" (The Winter King, Enemy of God, Excalibur). They're pretty well done, though they're more "historical fiction" than fantasy. There's a nice love story in there, and his take on Lancelot and Merlin alone make them worth reading.
