A Few Links!

I’ve been terribly busy and really working on the Guild Season 4 script (we are still working out the contract and don’t have shoot dates or release dates yet, but be patient, it’s all in the works!) but I’ve done a few things I’d like to draw your attention to. Or just compile here so I can get it off my check-list, hehe.

Comic Book Resources has the first 6 pages of The Guild #1 Comic posted. Don’t click if you don’t want spoilers! :) You can pre-order all three issues many places, including TFAW, and if you have a local store, please call before March 4th because that’s the cutoff date to order copies for stores, and some people might not automatically carry it because it’s new. I appreciate it!

I was interviewed on Attack of the Show today about The Guild Season 3 DVD we’re releasing through CreateSpace, always nice to stop by that set. Talked a little about the comic as well, and Mass Effect 2 (getting in characters pants mostly, hehe).

Also Part 2 of “How to Make a Codex Staff” was posted Monday by master craftsman and artist Greg Aranowitz on his blog. And yes, that screaming is for real. I was terrified of the dremel. One more installment is left!

I have some other things that are upcoming, but I’m pretty locked down in writing mode now, so I’ll touch on those later, including book reviews!

The Guild Season 3 DVD!

A few things. I had a FANTASTIC time at Farpoint Convention in Baltimore. I was so busy I only got to throw one snowball, but after being used to the giant cons like Comicon and Dragoncon, it was so fun meeting people in a smaller, more relaxed convention environment. I was so impressed, the organizers were stupendously welcoming, and I loved the fact that so many people had their kids involved in the convention. I also go to meet@osiramon, one of the Guild’s “Rejected Guild Applicants” from last season, which was a treat. Here we are at lunch:
Osiramon
Anyway, wonderful experience, I had a blast!

Biggest news in a while: Guild Season 3 DVD is out through Amazon CreateSpace today!
DVD
We added a lot of extra stuff to the DVD this season, it’s on 2 disks! It includes:
All the Season 3 episodes with “Play All” feature
2 commentary tracks
“Avatar” Video
BTS of “Avatar” Video, and cosplay segment on “How to Make Vork’s Sword”
“Axis of Anarchy” Interviews
“Rejected Guild Member” applications
And lots more!

It is Region-free and has optional English subtitling.
ALSO! You can order all the seasons in HD through AMAZON VOD for $6.99. Another way you can stream and enjoy the episodes. Please spread the word, we really appreciate it!!

And lastly, as a bonus to the DVD release,@GregAranowitz, the creator of the “Avatar” video weapons, filmed a “How to” video with ME in his studio on making Codex’s staff for his blog! It’s in three parts, the first part is up on his blog. You will quickly see I am not construction gifted, haha.

Hope you enjoy, back to writing!

Rock of the Dead

I’m packing for the Farpoint Convention in Baltimore, and I’m looking at the weather channel and really wondering if I’m gonna be able to make it over there, it’s a LOT OF SNOW! And frankly, I’ve actually not seen snow in person in 3 years, so this should be interesting.

Anyway, IGN just did a profile on another video game I’m doing a voice for ROCK OF THE DEAD. It’s for Wii and uses the Guitar Hero Guitar controller to attack zombies. When I saw that description I was like, sign me uuuup! Here’s a video preview.

I do the lead female voice, and I just discovered that NPH is doing the lead man voice! Which is a weird coincidence. And then again, I guess it isn’t a coincidence because the creators are big Dr. Horrible fans.

Ok, I guess I MIGHT see some of you in Baltimore! :)

Jace Hall Battle

I was pretty crazy busy when this was filmed, but who can say no to abusing@JaceHall with a light saber? Check out the full episodes at http://jacehall.tv/. Really awesome start to their second season! Funny enough, I DID email Dorkman when I saw their videos on YouTube and told them anytime they wanted to film something I was game. We finally got to work together! Love the internet! :)
