Horrible

Finally Here!25 Jul

I’m too tired to go into it, but on the way to ComiCon this morning at 7am,  me and my producer Kim Evey got stuck in a 7 hour traffic jam today.  If you follow my Twitter you probably though I was going through a war zone, LOL.  I barely made the 3-4 signing at the Browncoat booth!  I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to be trapped on the freeway going through a military base with no exits or bathrooms.  Especially if you have to pee :D

Anyway, it was so exciting to be able to meet all the fans of Horrible and The Guild, when I FINALLY got to the convention center.  I can’t wait for tomorrow when the full Horrible power comes to fruition!

Check out my first interview at Comicon with Mahalo Daily.

Night night!

Glad you finally arrived ok - I know how you feel about being stuck somewhere with “nowhere to go” I got stuck like that once and it wasn’t fun!

Glad you’re enjoying CC so far - tomorrow will be a blast! Wish I could be there.

    Hey Felicia,

Cool video. I was particularly amused at your mention of Prodigy; I helped establish the Teen board on that service (and I remember how sad I was when Prodigy started charging 25 cents *per e-mail*!)

Anyway, congrats on all your successes. Hope to hear more of you singing online!

“I barely made the 3-4 signing at the Browncoat booth!”

She’s not kidding. The first of the four pictures I uploaded from The Guild signing on Thursday (click my name) was taken at 2:54 PM, right after she arrived.

Nice interview. The twitter comments were a little funny. 7 hours? I’d have climbed up to the roof and taken a nap.

That wreck was insane. It’s good that you made it there OK. Tomorrow will be better.

    Hi Felicia,

It was really nice to meet you today. I know it was a rough start, but I hope you enjoyed your first day at Comic-Con. I know I sure did! It was great talking to both you and Jeff today; I can’t wait for Season 2 of the Guild. :) If you thought today was insane, just wait until tomorrow- it’s going to be LARGE! Have a great night (while I type up chemistry reports).

Hey Felicia, I’m noticing a trend here… since you began preparing for Comic Con and now are there, I’ve noticed your website hasn’t been down… I’m not trying to insinuate anything, but this IS a good reprieve from wordpress for me :P

What, Huh? Your other widgets…? Right, I’ll get right on them. :D

very nice interview. Its always comforting to hear people talk about how they want to keep what they are doing in line with the fans and keeps a more personal feel to it all. Its always so sad when you see famous faces slip away from all of that and turn their back on the fans that got them started.

Hope the rest of your time at comicon goes well

    Felicia = Nerd Prom Queen

Good day, miss Felicia - just wanted to tell you, the screening last night was wicked! I don’t know if you guys could see from the other side of the room, but I was dressed as the Good Doctor Horrible (shortish brown hair, who was trying to shake everyone’s hand as you all sped past), and there was a Captain Hammer who was in the isle lipsyching with me and having a blast. We had a few people who wanted us to pose for pictures afterward :D

I was bummed I didn’t get to shake your hand, because I saw you just as you ran by, and I actually ended up awkwardly grabbing Maurissa’s hand in a non-handshake, hand-cupping thing as I extended my gloved arm in your direction (The welding gloves don’t exactly lend themselves to dextrous manuevres of any sort).
But you guys got a gigantic standing ovation! W00t.
Any way, I hope you all could hear singing from your seats in the back; I did my best to belt out every tune, as I’m sure everyone else did. It was an incredible experience to share with a huge room of people.

I hope you enjoy the rest of ComiCon and capture a few wild signatures from people. Have a great day!

    Love&Peace,
Dr. Ali C., PhD. (in horribleness)

Yep, I’ve been stuck in that stretch through Pendleton too, although never for as long as seven hours.

I love how much you are enjoying yourself at Comic-Con. I got turned on to Dr. Horrible through some friends and am now checking out The Guild. I’ll be at Con tomorrow (guilty secret: Though I live in SD, this is my first Comic-Con since 1986… why? no idea.)

    Neat, Prodigy!

I spent my pre-Internet computer days on the local BBSes and Quantum Link. We gladly paid 6 cents per minute for wonderful new things like online chatting, instant messaging, email, and downloading files from their huge file library.

::sniffle:: Now I’m going to be all nostalgic for a while.

Glad you’re having fun at GigantiCon! :)

    Felicia,

Sorry I missed you in San Diego, but I was only there on Thursday (luckily, I got a chance to chat with Sandeep for a few minutes).

From all of the clips and photos scattered across the net, it looks like you had a blast!
